Stories between the lines: Why this blog exists!!
The Thought That Wouldn’t Leave
Somewhere between a college lecture and a theatre rehearsal, a thought kept knocking on my mind: “You’ve got things to say—so why are you keeping them inside?”
I’ve always been the kind of person who notices small things—a line in a movie, a weird moment in class, something someone said while scrolling. These moments build up. They deserve a place. This blog is that place.
About Me!
I’m Vaibhav Kochar. A student of media and communication who’s more interested in people than pixels, more into conversations than conclusions. I love theatre because it makes real life feel seen. I love stories because they help me understand my own. And I started this blog because—frankly—I’m tired of waiting to feel “ready.”
Why a Blog? Why Now?
In an online world chasing trends, going viral, and monetizing every thought, this blog is none of that. It’s not a brand. It’s a breather.
I wanted a slower internet. One where I could write how I talk. Where I could say things without needing a “like” to feel they were worth saying.
We all need a room of our own. This is mine. But the door’s open.
And more than ever, Gen Z needs to own its narrative. We're often labeled, analyzed, and misunderstood. But when we write in our own words, we reclaim our story. That's what this blog is about. Less noise, more nuance.
What You’ll Read Here?
- Days that start ordinarily but leave me thinking.
- Observations from life as a media student—between deadlines and discoveries.
- What theatre keeps teaching me about connection and confidence.
- Questions I’m still figuring out about content, culture, and self-worth.
- Little windows into days, memories, and feelings that don’t fit into a tweet.
- Thoughts on belonging, voice, and figuring things out without a map.
- Posts that don’t have answers, just honest questions.
It’s messy. It’s moody. It’s mine.
What I Hope You Feel Here!
I used to hold back because I thought, “Who even cares?” Now I think—even if one person relates, that reason is enough.
This blog helps me believe that expression matters. That even unsure voices have value, that we don’t have to sound like everyone else to be understood.
I don’t want to impress you. I want to connect. Maybe you’ll read something that makes you nod. Maybe you’ll feel less alone. Perhaps you’ll close the tab with a little more clarity than when you opened it.
That’s more than enough.
If You’re Still Here, That Means Everything
Thanks for stopping by. For reading. For caring, even if just a little. If my words echo with you, I hope you’ll come back.
Let this blog be a gentle reminder that your voice, like mine, deserves a space.
– Vaibhav
